What did you want to be when you grew up? I always wanted to be a writer.
As a child, I started out by writing stories about my imaginary friend to writing poetry filled with angst as a teen. It’s all led to me becoming the writer I am today – a freelance Content Strategist and writer who writes for humans, scribing words packed with personality. Honestly, I think this says a lot about my dedication and perseverance.
Specialising in marketing copy, I write content that connects with audiences, develops authority and builds brand awareness. Over the past decade, I have worked with big and little companies in almost every industry, from Travel & Hospitality to NGOs, Health & Wellbeing to Professional Services. I love honesty, transparency and communication, and I will always do my best to be clear and communicative with you.
From blogs, articles, web copy and press releases, to email and social media captions, my vast amount of experience means that I’ve picked up a lot of different marketing skills, not sure if I do what you need? Drop me a message, and if I can’t help, I can almost always recommend a superstar in my network.
With over 12 years of experience, my background is predominantly in brand and content marketing, from strategy right through to delivering copy and blogs that hit the spot for your audience – your brand and my words go together like a cup of tea (milk in last) and your favourite biscuit (I’ll have a ginger nut).
If I’ve piqued your interest, there’s three main ways that we can work together:
the
fling
these little one offs are fun, packed full of value and are all about me supporting you. you’re doing the heavy lifting and I’m in your corner like a cheerleader. A fling might look like:
- 90 minute content ideas session
- pick my brain for 60 minutes
- two hour content marketing workshop
- content audit, strategy & recommendations
- a one off blog, article or press release
let’s get to know each other
lasting from a few weeks to a few months, we’ll work closely together to reach an end goal. Some recent projects I’ve worked on are:
- creating a spoken word piece for a motion video about the climate crisis
- creating the strategy, messaging & marketing for a product launch
- crafting web copy
- editing a sci-fi novel
the
engagement
this is where you get to secure your spot in my diary every month. it’s all about you, your brand’s goals and how to keep you on track. An engagement might look like:
- x amount of blogs and social copy every month
- a set amount of time each week/month working with your team
- a weekly check in with your content marketing
Please note, I love my clients and our time together, so I can treat every client like they’re my only client, I only offer a limited amount of retainer spots at any time.
My day rate starts at £300.
Don’t just take my word for it, here’s some lovely things people have said about my work…
We immediately thought of Saloni for this project based on her years of poetic writing but also her empathetic style and tonality. Climate change is such a sensitive yet vital topic and we felt that Saloni could deliver this brief exceptionally well. We weren’t looking for your usual script, we were looking for a poem that would inspire and engage its listeners to act.
Saloni was a joy to work with, her work was unique, powerful and beautiful. It went above and beyond our expectations to create a piece that was more than we could have hoped for. Not only was the quality of her work exceptional, but she also was collaborative throughout the project, took feedback on board and delivered on time consistently. She worked with our agency team and corporate clients well. They were thoroughly impressed with the creativity of her work and her professionalism, even working varied hours to accommodate for global timezones.
I can say that I, nor the agency I work, for would hesitate in working with Saloni again. In fact, we’ve just briefed her on a new project! We wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone else in need of a talented storyteller, writer and/or poet. You won’t be disappointed.
